Texas Sports Hall of Fame Finalizes Class of 2027 Ballot

(WACO, Texas) — The Texas Sports Hall of Fame Selection Committee met Tuesday to create the ballots for the Class of 2027 inductees. 

After reviewing nominations submitted from across the state and nation, the committee selected finalists for both the primary ballot and veteran ballot. The veteran ballot consists of nominees whose primary athletic accomplishments occurred prior to the 2007 cutoff year. 

Official voting for the Class of 2027 will begin July 16, 2026 and end August 16, 2026. Ballots will be distributed exclusively to Texas Sports Hall of Fame inductees, Hall of Fame members and selection committee members via email.

Sports fans and supporters interested in participating in the voting process may become official members of the Texas Sports Hall of Fame by signing up online at https://tshof.org/membership/. Membership starts at $50.

The Texas Sports Hall of Fame annually honors individuals who have made significant contributions to athletics in Texas and have left a lasting impact on sports history. The 2027 Induction Banquet is set to take place in Waco, Texas on April 17, 2027. The official class announcement and ticket sales will be released this fall.
