Von Miller

Born March 26, 1989 in DeSoto, Texas, Miller is a celebrated NFL linebacker renowned for his speed, power, and game-changing sacks. Miller is currently tied for ninth, with fellow TSHOF member and teammate, Demarcus Ware, on the NFL’s career sack list. His 138.5 sacks rank first among active NFL players. After a standout career at DeSoto High School and later at Texas A&M (2007-2010) Miller won consensus All-American honors and the 2010 Collegiate Butkus Award. His 17 quarterback sacks in 2009 was second on the all-time single season list and he finished his Aggie career with 33 quarterback sacks. Miller was selected second overall by the Denver Broncos (2011-2021) in the 2011 NFL Draft. He became one of the league’s most dominant defenders and earned eight Pro Bowl selections and three All-Pro honors. Miller was named the Super Bowl 50 MVP posting six tackles and 2.5 sacks as the Broncos beat Carolina 24-10. In 2012 he won the Professional Butkus Award as the NFL’s top linebacker when he stacked up 18.5 sacks. In 14 NFL seasons Miller has also played for the Los Angeles Rams (2021)—where he earned his second Super Bowl ring—the Buffalo Bills (2022-2024) and the Washington Commanders, (2025-present) where he continues to be a force on defense. In 2012 Miller started the Von’s Vision Foundation to help low-income students access eye care and eyewear, giving them the ability to see and reach a brighter future.
