Celebrity Golf Tournament

Tee off for a great cause and an unforgettable experience. Each year, the Texas Sports Hall of Fame hosts a Celebrity Golf Tournament that invites teams, sponsors and fans to step into the fairway and play alongside some of Texas’s most celebrated athletes. It’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity: the thrill of competition, the camaraderie of shared sport, and the meaningful impact of supporting the Hall’s mission to honor Texas sports heritage.

What the Day Looks Like

The tournament is held at the scenic Cottonwood Creek Golf Course in Waco and includes a shotgun start with celebrity pairings, on-course contests, awards, and a social gathering or auction the night before or after the round. Whether you’re a serious golfer or just in it for the fun and networking, this event delivers memorable moments in a vibrant, sports-driven environment.

Friday, June 19: Check-in at 11 a.m. with lunch at Cottonwood and tee time at noon.

Friday night Golf Party begins at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m.

Saturday, June 20: Check-in at 7 a.m., tee time at 8 a.m., lunch will follow.

How to Register & Sponsor

Team registrations, Friday night auction or social tickets, and sponsorship opportunities are now open for the next tournament. Teams typically consist of three players plus a celebrity guest. Sponsorship levels range from hole-sponsors and putting-contest titles to full event presenting partners. Detailed packages and registration forms are available through our events office.
