Texas Sports Hall of Fame Announces Southwest Conference Hall of Fame 2026 Class & Induction Luncheon

(WACO, Texas) — The Texas Sports Hall of Fame proudly announces the nine newest inductees into the Southwest Conference Hall of Fame, honoring legendary athletes, administrators and contributors whose accomplishments helped define one of the most iconic eras in collegiate athletics history.

The 2026 Southwest Conference Hall of Fame inductees are:

  1. University of Arkansas: Barry Foster (Football)
  2. Baylor University: Dennis Gentry (Football)
  3. University of Houston: Lilly Denoon (Volleyball)
  4. Rice University: Candace Lessmeister (Track & Field)
  5. Southern Methodist University: Kevin Robinzine (Track & Field)
  6. University of Texas: Corby Robertson (Football)
  7. Texas A&M University: Edd Hargett (Football)
  8. Texas Christian University: Raymond Stewart (Track & Field)
  9. Texas Tech University: Robert Hall (Football)

 

The Southwest Conference Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Luncheon will take place Tuesday, August 4, 2026,11:30am at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame in Waco.
