The Texas Sports Hall of Fame Selection Committee anounced both the primary and veterans ballot for the Class of 2027 inductees.

Official voting will begin on July 16th and end on August 16th. The voting ballot will be emailed to TSHOF members, board members, the selection committee and current Hall of Famers whose votes will be tabulated and submitted to Simply Voting. Individuals can cast a vote this year by clicking here and becoming a TSHOF member. Membership starts at $50.

The 2027 Texas Sports Hall of Fame Induction Banquet is set to take place in Waco, Texas, on April 17, 2027. The Official 2027 class announcement and ticket sales will be released this fall.

Selection Process & Criteria: Any athlete, coach or administrator, male or female, living or deceased, is eligible for induction into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. Nominees will be selected who have brought lasting fame and honor to Texas sports. The selection committee shall meet every year to determine who is placed on the official Texas Sports Hall of Fame nomination ballot. The ballot consists of a primary and veterans section. The Primary Ballot will have 20 names and the Veterans Ballot will have 12 names. The top three vote-getters on each ballot who are not elected will automatically be placed on the ballot the next year. Texas Sports Hall of Fame staff will prepare the bios once the ballot has been selected, mail ballots and tabulate the votes.
