BASKETBALL HOF MOVES TO CARMINE,
TEXAS
After a long and productive relationship with the Texas Sports Hall of Fame the Texas High School Basketball Hall of Fame is moving to a new home in Carmine, Texas. The exhibits for the Texas High School Basketball HOF are no longer located in
Waco
.
The new Texas Basketball Museum, which will now have approximately double the amount of exhibit space that was available in Waco, will be located at 107 Augsburg Ave. in Carmine, Texas. Carmine is located between Giddings & Brenham on Highway 290 about halfway between Austin & Houston.

The move to Carmine was arranged by the board of the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) who fund the hall of fame and conduct the annual induction banquet. The re-opening of the Texas High School Basketball Hall of Fame is scheduled for the Fall of 2008.
