Baylor hasn't opened 4-0 in back-to-back-to-back seasons since they called Carroll Field home

Baylor – Baylor is looking to start a season 4-0 for the 3rd-straight year, which would be first time since 1915-17

Rice – Rice has won five straight 13 of the last 14 at Rice Stadium

Houston – Houston head coach Tom Herman joined rare air last week as he became just the second coach in Houston history to open his career 3-0. John Jenkins accomplished the feat in 1990. He is one of two new head coaches nationally (Jim McElwain - Florida) to start the year undefeated.

SMU – After scoring 45 points last week, SMU surpassed last season’s scoring total of 133 by one point (Mustangs are at 134 so far in 2015).

TAMU – A victory would give the Aggies a 5-0 overall start for the second year in a row, which hasn’t happened since 1940-41

With a win Saturday, A&M will start 5-0 for the second year in a row. A feat last accomplished by Aggie coach Homer Norton.

TCU – With this being the 86th meeting, Texas is TCU’s fourth-most played opponent trailing only Baylor (110), SMU (95) and Texas A&M (92)

TTU – For the first time in school history, Texas Tech will play back-to-back top-5 nationally ranked teams (No. 3 TCU and No. 4 Baylor).

UNT – WR Carlos Harris added another notch to his belt of versatility as he threw his first TD pass against Iowa. He’s non-QB player since Patrick Cobbs in 2005 to toss for a touchdown. He’s also entered elite company, joining Cobbs as the only other person in school history to throw a TD, run for a TD and catch a TD

UT – Texas leads the all-time series against TCU, 62-22-1 including a 27-9 record when the ‘Horns are on the road.

UTEP – UTEP will be hosting UTSA for the school’s 84th Homecoming Game this weekend

UTSA – UTSA (0-4) will look to avoid the first five-game losing streak in program history this weekend
