 The Texas High School Football Hall of Fame announces nine new inductees among its 2018 class. These nine will be formally recognized and inducted on May 5 at Baylor University’s Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas. 


1950’s & Before - Bobby Cavazos - Kingsville High School


1960’s - Brad Dusek - Temple High School


1970’s - Ken Washington - Port Arthur Lincoln High School


1980’s - Tommy Jeter - Deer Park High School


1990’s - Kliff Kingsbury - New Braunfels High School


2000’s - Johnathan Gray - Aledo High School


Eddie Joseph Coach Category - Phil Danaher - Calallen High School


Eddie Joseph Coach Category - Bob Shelton - Buda Hays High School


Dave Campbell Contributor to the Game - Bruce Hardy - Stadium Manager Texas Stadium


The Gordon Wood award will be presented  to a team for their accomplishments during the  2017 season and the Tom Landry Award will be presented to an outstanding coach. 
Please join us in welcoming the class of 2018 into the Hall of Fame May 5 at 6 p.m. at Baylor University’s Ferrell Center. Please contact Tiffany Wilkins at or 210-290-8570 by April 30th to purchase tickets. Adult tickets are $45, students are $15.
A news conference will be held prior to the banquet at 3:00pm at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
